Garmin Pilot Getting A Lot Better

Pilot 8.4.4 has a lot going for it. The user interface is much better. Planning a flight can be initiated from the Maps Screen. Deleting waypoints is more flexible now. Plates on Maps Screen is much better than the split screen version. Display options for waypoints is very flexible.

There still is one bug that Garmin continues to ignore: this version and prior ones will not consistently keep a plate on the Maps Screen. Leave the screen and plates for some airports disappear on returning. Another shortcoming is that a different plate cannot be on Maps Screen and Charts Screen.

The good news is that with ForeFlights price increase for Aero, the vector maps in Garmin Pilot are looking very attractive. So, keep up the good work Garmin. Looking very attractive.
